Chitwan National Park with Village Tour.

This tour is combined package tour with Chitwan National Park with Makawanpur Village. Chitwan national park is situated in southwest of Kathmand and covers 932 sq. km. This is Nepal’s first famous national park for the wildlife safaris in Nepal. Can be seen wild elephant, one horn rhinos, white footed gaur (the world’s largest wild cattle), leopards, wild boar, sloth bear and several species of deer including the spotted, barking, Somber and hog deer. It is the home of the one-horned rhinoceros and harbors one of the largest populations of the exclusive and rare Royal Bengal tigers. The swampy areas and numerous ox-bow lakes are a prefect for marsh crocodiles. The park hosts 450 species of birds. The Tharu people who have unique cultural traditions in Chitwan there are two different kind of accommodations are available inside National park and outside at Shauraha. Phakhel Village Tour:
Phakhel Village is situated in the Mahabharat Range, South of Kathmandu, approximate two hours drive. Although close to the Capital City it is an subsurface road. A sub-tropical climate prevails. The vegetation is mixed forest with fruiting trees & scrubs and below indigenous medicinal herbs and orchids. Many colorful birds are the natural orchestra in the area, including Blue Magpie, Scarlet Minivet, Moubtain Scops Owl and Eagles. Over 150 species can be seen on day Hiking.

Itineraries of Chitwan Jungle Safari with Village Tour.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel free after noon

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
Full day Sightseeing tours around KTM valley -Boudhanath, Swoyambunath (Monkey temple) and Patan Durbar Squire and over night hotel.

3 Nights 4 days Chitwan visit:
Day 03: Kathmandu – Chitwan
7 AM Depart from Kathmandu to Chitwan 5/6 hours Scenic drive for lunch by Private Coach, after lunch Elephant Breeding center visit and Tharu village Tour back to Safari lodge over night stay.

Day 04: Chitwan Wildlife Tour.
After Breakfast, Animal hunting with Camera trip on Jeep drive to Crocodiles Breeding center, Twenty thousand Lake including 2/3 hours jungle walk with pack lunch and back to Safari lodge overnight stay.

Day 05: Chitwan wildlife Activities.
After Breakfast 2/3 hours Elephant Back Safari Animal Hunting with Camara back to lodge for lunch. After lunch Dugout canoeing and Jungle walk than museum visit and tharu culture dance and over night Lodge.

Day 06: Chitwan – Kathmandu
After Breakfast Depart from Chitwan 5/6 hours scenic drive to Kathmandu, lunch will be provided River site Restaurant on Prithivi highway and reach Kathmandu check in hotel and over night stay.

Day 07: In Kathmandu.
Optional: Mountain flight in the Morning. After Mountain flight half day sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur Durbar squire visit Nyatapola temple and Changunaran Temple back to hotel and over night stay.

3 Nights 4 days Community Work
Day 08: Kathmandu – Phakhel.
Two hours drive to Phakhel for 3 nights 4 days fixed camp village tour and visit Child Care center and local village home and meeting local people their life style and culture, over night camp.

Day 09: Phakhel Village Tour.
Local Village culture tour for the day with packed lunch and Visit village local school share your experience with our children you can be volunteer teaching English for the day and return to camp.

Day 10: Village school visit.
Visit local child care center share your experiences with children in the morning and day day Hiking to hill Top with pack lunch for the day and back to camp.

Day 11: Trek along the village to Pharping and drive to Kathmandu hotel overnight.

Day 12: Free for shopping and Packing and over night hotel.

Day 13: Check out the hotel and transfer to international airport for onwards journey to Home.
