Tamang Heritage Trek

The Tamang culture trail is a newly opened incredible destination. The culture & adventure activities are combined to bring you the best of the Tamang Heritage Trail. Enjoy the scenic drive to Syabru Bensi, below the Langtang Himalayan Range Tibetan Borderlands, Heritage Trails, Home Stays and Hot springs are just some of the treasures of this unique trip. This trek takes you along the Tamang Heritage Trails through the central part of the Nepal Himalaya (in Ganesh and Langtang regions) and to the Tibetan borders. The trail passes through traditional villages where culture, and crafts have remained unchanged since settlement began. This is a unique trek offering the opportunity to lodge with locals in a family home stay. This allows a superb opportunity to really experience the way of life in these remote villages.We trek to Gatlang where we can relax by Parvati Kund, the first of the sacred lakes we will visit. We then climb to Tatopani where we can bathe in the hot spring waters. The trail then heads east towards the Bhote Koshi valley across a very picturesque trail with great viewing points to see the mountains. Once we meet the Bhote Kosi we then descend to the river and cross over to Briddim. Here we lodge at an award winning family home stay.

Itineraries of Tamang Heritage Trek.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu transfer to hotel
Day 02: Half day Sight seeing tour- in and around Valley Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi via Dhunche Overnight local hotel
Day 04: Trek to Goljung /Gatlang Overnight community lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Gatlang-Tatopani Overnight local lodge
Day 06: Trek to Tatopani-Nagthali-Thuman Home stay
Day 07: Trek to Thuman-Timure-Rasuwagadi-Timure Overnight local lodges
Day 08: Trek to Timure-Briddim Home stay
Day 09: Trek to Briddim-Khamjim-Syabru Overnight hotel
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu Overnight hotel
Day 11: Mountain flight in the morning and visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire in the afternoon.
Day 12: Departure transfer to the airport for your flight.
