Makalu Trekking.
Makalu trekking in lies at the eastern part of Nepal, it is protected by the Makalu Barun National Park and Conservation Project, established in 1992. The park covers altogether 2330 sq km among the several mountains. It is the home of Mt. Makalu (8463m), the fifth highest peak in the world, along with this peak there are the Mt Chamlang (7319 m) and Mt. Baruntse (7129m) being stretched over 40 km.The Mt. Makalu is a restricted area; however, we have a trekking in Arun Valley and subsequently to the dense forests, alpine meadows and up to the Barun glacier and reach to the base camp, from where we have a spectacular view of Mt. Makalu.This is considered to the low altitude trekking, mostly centered at Arun Valley, the eastern part of Nepal. The valley that holds a mighty Arun River and dense forest that is contrasted with the terraced slopes, where you also can see that diverse tribal groups residing in unity and the Makalu-Barun National Park, an important conservation area of many species, which are on the verge of extinct.
