Chitlang Village Tour
Unique Mahabharat Range lies on the south / west of Katmandu Valley and very close to the Capital city Kathmandu. The villages are reachable within the 4-5 hrs by walking distance and 2-3 hrs village road drive to Chitlang, One can continue to Royal Chitwan National Park and Tarai (Lowland of Nepal) Characteristics of the villages: Geographical diversity, flora and fauna. The village route was the only way to international link to India in the Rana regime.. The Royal Chitwan National Park, established in 1973, provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna –read further for more details. The wildlife and the landscape are not as breathtaking as those found in Africa but still, the experience will stand out. Chitwan is only 150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous, with Himalayan views, and in winter (December-January), Chitwan is pleasantly warmed compared to Kathmandu. The monsoon season (July-August) is intense, with pounding rain, swollen rivers, and luxuriant vegetation. While the rain isn't constant, the humidity is all pervasive.

Itineraries of Chitlang Village Tour. |
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight Hotel.
Day 02: Half day Sight seeing tour to ancient Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar.
Day 03: A 15 km drive to Panighad and ascend through the forest on foot to Chitlang,.
Day 04: Village culture tour for the day with packed lunch and return to Camp.
Day 05: Visit local school share your experiences with children for the day.
Day 06: Visit Olive farm, Goat cheese factory and traditional Newari village.
Day 07: Trek to Deurali (2000m.) forest camp. Great Mountain. view overlooking the Kathmandu valley.
Day 08: Trek to Danda khel (1900m.) day lead through wilderness along the ridge.
Day 09: Descend to Pharping, and visit the monasteries. Drive to Kathmandu hotel.
Day 10: Mountain flight in themorning, PM Visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire.
Day 11: Free for shopping until transfer to airport for departure.
