Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Start the adventure with a scenic drive through lush hills, terraced fields, and rivers to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang region.
Begin the trek, crossing the Bhote Koshi River and gradually ascending through rhododendron and oak forests to reach Lama Hotel.
Continue trekking along the Langtang River, passing through lush forests and small settlements, until you reach the traditional Langtang Village.
Trek further into the valley, reaching Kyanjin Gompa, a stunning settlement surrounded by towering peaks. Explore the ancient monastery and acclimatize.
Rest and acclimatize at Kyanjin Gompa. Optional hikes include climbing to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
Begin the ascent towards Yala Peak Base Camp. The trail passes through alpine meadows with fantastic views of Langtang Lirung and other nearby peaks.
Begin the summit push early in the morning. Though non-technical, the climb involves walking on snow and ice. After reaching the summit of Yala Peak and taking in breathtaking views of the Himalayas, descend back to Kyanjin Gompa.
Retrace your steps and descend back to Lama Hotel through the Langtang Valley, enjoying the downhill trek and vibrant landscapes.
Continue descending towards Syabrubesi, where the trek started.
Drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, rest and enjoy the city’s cultural attractions.
